"Mama, look at my Hebrides!"

While playing with playdoh this morning, Joel decided to make Fingal's Cave. He's so amazing, but this plummets his chance of ever being cool (as considered by some) even more. (He's way cool to me, though - and to himself, too!)

"Huckleberry, jello, rest, rest"

This is what Joel was doing on the driveway with sidewalk.chalk.this morning. They are rhythms he's learning in his group violin lessons. He wrote this (fairly complex) rhythm, and had no problem saying it.
